After a long COVID-induced hiatus, GradTONES is finally back and ready to welcome new members to our little family!
In an effort to mitigate lingering risks of COVID-19, our first round of auditions this semester will be online and asynchronous. That means that we will have you upload videos of yourselves singing during a set window of time. No appointments are necessary–you can audition from your couch at 2am if you’d like!
Auditions are live from NOW until September 5, 2021. You can upload your video at any time during that window, with the deadline being 8:00pm ET on 9/5/21.
Here’s what your video should include:
- An introduction of yourself (tell us your first and last name, and title the video with your name as well, so that we can be sure we know who we are listening to)
- A solo song (sing a verse and chorus of a song of your choosing. It can be any song you’d like–just try to pick something that shows off your voice well!)
- A range test (see the video tutorials on our Auditions page!)
You should fill out this Google form with info about yourself, and upload your audition video at the end of the form (form is now live).
And that’s it! If you are selected for a call-back, these will be in-person and take place the week of September 6.
